mad.gif I just spent like 45 mins. transferring ONE article for the WCP, and it had like 25 pictures in it LOL

dry.gif dry.gif dry.gif dry.gif dry.gif

But I took it on anyway, and had to redo all the .jpg filenames because I forgot to put one in..... then when I saved it something went haywire and deleted like the last half of it...... YARGH!!

Oh well it looks good now I fixed everything so all's well that ends well...

Anyone else here have any wiki'ing horror stories?

I don't really work in the wiki very often, but if I work on a long theory forum post or something I sometimes type it out in word just in case my browser craps out.. Glad to hear you got everything up and running - let us know when you finish the article. smile.gif

That's a lot of pictures for an article smile.gif
I never had any problems, but sometimes when I'm writing I have so many windows open that I close the wrong one laugh.gif that's why I save my work every 5/10 minutes just in case wink.gif

Funny you should just say that, I just lost about 20-30 mins. worth of work on my Randall article because I accidentally hit the "what's new" tab on the windows toolbar and went to a new page.... and of course when I went back the page was back to how it was before......

So now I'm just stewing over my anger and listening to some Lamb of God....

laugh.gif Save! save! save!

You can always write stuff on a plain .txt file and paste it later if you wish. But I rather work on the wiki directly as it's easier to create internal links, picture codes, etc. Saving every now and then tongue.gif
