A Paradox On Earth, Anyone have this problem?

For example, one song I have, has a pretty tough tapping/ sweeping lick thats all legato so you have to mute all the strings just right, took me like an hour to get it. Yet, in another song, there could be a simple 4 chord progression and it will take me HOURS to get it right, Even a day or two. Yes that's what happens to me. When we play live we don't really think of that In studio you have to be precise like a machine because any little scratch is going to ruin it. When playing fast stuff those little noises are not that hearable. I have a big problem when recording strumming. I need to make every chord with the right amount of attack while keeping that nice flow. Many things to concentrate on but that's just how it is. I think it's because a simpler thing you won't practice as much so you'll be able to play it but you won't be so familiar with it. All lead playing and soloing goes like knife to the butter but the simple ones, Huh huh. I think that i don't wont any kind of additional noises (like neighbours gerbil farting) to taken and i want always play it whole with one take. So it's not only your problem.
