There's an upcoming concert where Turbo Negro is opening for Marilyn Manson.

I have to admit I don't know much about either, I've heard a few songs here and there from both and my impression of Marilyn Manson as a person he seems very humble and intelligent. But that's about it.
What do you think ppl, could an old rocker stuck in the 80's NWOBHM with some attraction to progressive metal enjoy going to see them?

Haha! Sure! Go see it.
I'm an even older rocker, stuck in the 70's and I like MM. In worst case you have done something out of the ordinary for a few hours biggrin.gif

Turbo Negro is a Norwegian band that label themselves as "death punk" I think.

I've seen MM many times, first in 1994 or so. They play a good show. It'll be interesting to see Skold on guitar with the new material this go-around.

Looked at their Wikipedia entry. Looks goofy and they're probably fun to watch. Makes more sense than the Slayer pairing.

Turbonegro is a great band to see live, with lots of energy.

I suggests these songs from Turbonegro:

All My Friends Are Dead - Actual song starts at 1:02
**** The World
City Of Satan

Don't know about Marylin Manson. Never bothered to listen to anything from him since I don't like the guy at all. Heard som nasty rumors that he removed some bones in his hips or spine or something like that so he could suck himself blink.gif

So, pay for the ticket, watch Turbonegro, and leave!

Edited for language in song title. Micke

Was it from here John5 came????
One positive on MM at least, otherwise it seem to be more on Turbo Negro. I expected the opposite laugh.gif

Good songs all of them! I just realize that I've heard City of Satan before.

laugh.gif Rumors are what they are, just look at all the rumors about Michael Jackson and there's nothing strange about him... hey wait a minute! laugh.gif
I seriously doubt any surgeon would remove part of the spine or the hip even for such reason. Extend the neck on the other hand would be doable laugh.gif
