GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Where Can I Get Jam Along Tracks To Practice?

i am thinking of getting a line 6 floor pod,i think that multi effect pedal is quite cool n i like the mp3 plug in fuction,i would like it as a training partner,so my question is where do i get to download jam along tracks for songs that i like so that i can get to practice on my guitar part for that song?

Line 6 has a built in web interface to the Gearbox software that you can subscribe to and it gives you access to a lot of backing tracks, and lessons, its pretty cool.

My favorite guitar backing tracks website is http://www.guitarbt.com/index.php?page=dl_list
It's free and has some quality tracks...

Lots of nice tracks but I found the download speeds VERY slow. Nearly an hour for each track.

Did you find it this slow as well?

It is indeed pretty slow. It used to be faster.. Sorry!

I use the same as Walliman, just bear with the slow download, it's free and good quality!!!

Here's another free site, you'll have to register to access the backing tracks, there's not as many as at GuitarBT but faster and good quality aswell - http://www.guitarvoice.com/
