cool idea kyldee
for the modern blues lesson, sounds good but two things. first, try and get those bends to the right note. they sounded a little to low. you can practice that by playing a note and move down a whole step and try to get it sound like the first note. ex. play 12th fret on b string and bend 10th fret to sound like it. you can use that idea for more than a whole step bend. Second, around the middle theres like a faster legato type part, just try and work that a little faster.

for the mark knopfler lesson sounds good also but those double bends sound a little off so practice them how i say above just with another note, make the legato parts just a little faster and put some vibrato in there which will give it more feeling. you can check out marcus lessons for those.

good job overall and keep practicing them

BTW how do you download the backing tracks from lessons?

If you have audacity (free software) you can record every sound on your computer, (make sure your input is stereo mix) and beware if your hotmail or msn is on, you can record the sound ("tin") when a contact is online lol

Thanks smile.gif

I have a Korg Pandora like Muris, and used his settings that he told in a thread some time ago, and modified them a bit to get that sound smile.gif

And Trond's?

And Trond's?

Oh, you meant that one, I really don't know smile.gif I just tried to find a sound just like in the lesson, but in my opinion it doesn't sound nearly as good as Tronds tone smile.gif
