That if you take an occasional break from playing guitar you can come back to it better than you were before?
I've tried tapping on and off a couple times for a while, sucked, haven't played for a couple days because i've been busy. Picked up my guitar at about 11pm, within half an hour could play the whole of Tank's tapping lesson and the tapping riff in Ozzy Osbourne's Crazy Train, almost perfectly.
Weird.
yeh lol
thats happened so many times to me!
Im sure some will agree with me that, sometimes players play to the point where they get so stressed out in a session that they cant play.
I did it with the fade to black solo, tried for hours, got mad, left it for a day, picked up the guitar and played it perfect!
Guess in someways its always good to have a break, just aslong as it isnt tooooo long (hate to see guitarists have good talent/equipment and not use it )
After an intense practcing period a very rarely notice any progress - until I have had a couple days of rest. Then it comes to you - boy that can be rewarding!
