Hello and welcome to your personal musical/guitaristical development thread!
First and foremost, I would like to ask if you have any recordings whatsoever, so that I may have a better idea regarding how your playing sounds like
Let's start!
Cosmin

So, we'll continue in English - I will come up with a little introductory video, regarding theory learning Stay tuned tomorrow, ok mate?
Cosmin
Ok Cosmin, I will be there.
Cheers mate - check this out:
and the chart:
Heyyy, thanks for this lesson...It's a great formula..
Now: G: G A B C D E F# G
for D: D E F# G A B C# D
for E: E F# G# A B C# D# E
Hehe, very good!
I was sure you would figure this out! Now, in the next little video, I will tell you about intervals In the mean time - can you tell me how the Eb, Bb and F# major scales look like?
Cosmin
heey:D
Eb: Eb F G Ab Bb C D Eb
Bb: Bb C D Eb F G A Bb
F#: F# Ab Bb B Cd Eb F F#
heeeey:)
I have a question....Why F will E# be in this scale?
F# G# A# B C# D# E# F#
Great observation man It is simply a name given to F so that it may fit the formula - if F would've stayed F, instead of E#, we would've had two F notes (F and F#) and no E note It wouldn't've worked like that and thus the E# appeared.
Stay tuned for a little video on intervals - it will be the next step towards our first important goal - creating chords!
Ohhhhh... Thanks. I understand now. I'm here to waiting next lesson:)
Wow. Very useful this lesson. I have things arranged in head now. We can move forward:)
Alright mate! Coming up tomorrow morning
Here we go:
Heyyy...here is my ''homework''
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWLfmiYI_rQ
Oh oh, mate - please set it on 'Unlisted' You set it on private and I can't see it.. Thank you!
Pffff... sory, it's my fault....
try now.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWLfmiYI_rQ
Hehehe! Great work man!! It was perfect
And that guitar sounds beautiful - what is it? Now, I want you to learn (in the same way) the positions for F major, G major, D minor, E minor, A minor and B diminished. Let me know when you are ready and I will give you some interesting tasks
I don't now what type of guitar is. I bought here in England to practice. It was just 90 pounds:)). Ok.. I will let you know when i finish.
Helllow again. I am studying this chords. I discover it. No we can move forward. I can't wait!!:))
Hey there man
Now that you know these chords, I would like you to go through the following lessons:
http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Triads_in_Major_Scale_Series_Part_1/
http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Triads_in_Major_Scale_Series_Part_2/
http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Triads_in_Major_Scale_Series_Part_3/
You will understand why I wanted you to get familiar with all those triad shapes Practice them and please record each one in a video. After this step, we will talk about the Circle of 5ths and tackle trickier chord/ theory tasks!
Deal?
Cosmin
Hey Cosmin. I was studyied the material with triads. I was practiced all day this 3 forms of C major Triads. I will continue tomorrow, but now i have a little video for you.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n14bQXYb7wo
Good morning Cosmin! Till now all is ok. I understood everything. I'm so happy because I understood this theoretical elements. I know that's easy for you, but i did not know this basic elements! Now i can say i know:)).
Mate, I am glad to hear this
In easy, small steps, we will discover more and more musical stuff together! Looking forward to see your next vid!
Heeeey.
The first position of triads in C major could not to film because i have an acoustic guitar and i can't touch very well some notes at the end of the neck. I have here the second position 5-1-3.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBTGr2IGcco
Hey mate This is good but it could use a bit more practice - you see, some of the positions sound a bit out of tune - have you checked the guitar before recording?
Hey Cosmin. I can't remember this. I don't no...
Mate, the important thing here is that you check your guitar each time before recording something - it should always be in tune before the recording process So, let's make a deal between ourselves, that you will always check the tuning, ok?
Now, I would also like you to take a look over this lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Inverted-Chords-Progression/ It is a good way to notice chords at work in a more musical context
Lay down a video for this one as well mate and then I will give you your first creative assignment, deal?
Good. I will do. I'll be more careful to tuning my guitar before. I did not realize this then.
It can happen, so that's why I want you to be aware on this - looking forward to the next vid! All cool so far, no questions?
Good morning... Yet i have no questions.I will practice today what you gave me, and if i have questions i will call you:))
heey. here you have my work.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZADOkUmHEE
Hey man - excellent!!
Great work as usual I must say, I like working with you a lot
So, I would like you to compile a bit of the knowledge you have gathered so far for the following task:
- We will use the I V vi IV progression (in C major that would be C G Am F)
- Please set the metronome at a speed at which you feel comfortable
- Use the finger picking patter you have learned in the previous lesson (your last recording)
- Record the progression using as many positions on the neck as possible for the given chords in the progression - first in a direct state (root note in the bass) then use some voicings of your choice (voicings - forms of a chord that have other notes in the bass rather than the root, i.e. the 5th or the 3rd)
Let me know if everything is ok and then after recording this task, I would like you to tackle this one: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Violins-Hybrid-Picking/
Cosmin
Hey Cosmin... For the first i wan't to thank you for your patience and help. Tomorrow morning i will sent you my video whith my work..
