Sorry if this has been posted before. Im looking at getting a new one.
Im looking at the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000.

I want a better cam. Mine stinks and have bad latency issues. Can I use this in Windows Movie Maker? Can I record from a separate audio source?

Thanks.

Hopefully someone relpys shortly. Im leaving from work to the store in like 45 min. lol smile.gif

I use this camera for recording and you get pretty good quality...See my youtube videos if you want to see the quality

You can use this in movie maker and there is a software calle logitech quick cam that follows with the software....

I think this cam is really worth its price and it is perfect for recording amatuer videos

I've got it and I'm happy with it. You'll need to get used to it and tweak the options a bit to obtaing good framerate (turn some options off, have a good lightning, fiddle a bit with some controls), once you get to know it you can obtain good results.

It's a webcam, so don't expect awesome quality, but it's certainly above average. Worth the price.

I dig mine.

I did turn off the "pure light" thing or whatever its called. Allows SMOKIN' frame rates without it.

Lamps are cheap. Good light is a necessity for photos and video. No need to skimp there. Get a $9 lamp and you're golden.

Trying to compensate for that via software is just asking for trouble....

Congratulations Opeth mate, that cam is great. But as for all webcams with small lens, you need considerable amount of light in order to capture it on the CCD chip inside the cam. The smaller the lens the less light it can focus on the chip, so good light is crucial for good recordings.
