Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Purple Hayes smile.gif Generally this is a strong take.. there's only a couple of minor issues. Your rhythm playing is fundamentally strong, just a little in front of the beat in places, which could just be down to self consciousness with the camera running etc..

The other thing is you're still playing a few things differently to the lesson, you miss the b5 chord at the tail end of the main riff (eg. at 0:08) also, you're adding extra notes to the riffs beginning at 0:40. I think your left hands wants to play more notes than the lesson, haha ! wink.gif But these aren't criticisms, just observations. I would slow down the second half of the song and exaggerate the beats in my head, so my left hand doesn't get carried away.. and concentrate on moving left & right hand together, as one. It is a tricky riff, it gave me enough of a challenge for sure wink.gif

Great take, man!

Your sound is great, it suits the gengre well. Nothing to add to that of Ben's comment, just try to focus a bit more.
