Let's see how this works!
My brother and I jamming. biggrin.gif
"My Back Pages" Traveling Wilburies.
My brother made drum backing with bass, and he rips a decent solo at the end.

very nice pick, your brothers solo was good, it wasnt too fast, but it had feeling.

Was your brother using a Gibson? if so which one?

Only one thing dissapointing about that, was you never said "It's guitar time!" before it started.

Keep Rockin'!

I liked it! biggrin.gif The flying yammers have a new fan - I liked the singing as well as the solo, not one note to much.

Chris is playing a Gibson Les Paul, its from the mid 70's and was modeled after the '59 version.

...You know what they say Kris --"the space inbetween the notes can be as important as the notes themselves"!! biggrin.gif

Well, looks like it works, lets see some other's post, audio should work too, doesnt have to be a video!

Great playing/singing and a great song, I envy you.

Poor quality video but the sound quality was good.
I think its because you purposly made the video file size small though

Good stuff.

Space in between the notes... I have never thought of that... you mean the frets?? wink.gif biggrin.gif

Great first upload, by the way. smile.gif

Not a good Idea to answer for somebody else, but hey, I like livin dangerously...lol

Kris, I do believe that he means the time between notes, in other words, the silence between, or the time that no actual notes are being played. This time is often as important as the actual notes played. You dont always have to play 16 notes to a bar. Sometimes 3 notes and 12 "spaces" say so much more than 16 notes.
This is what I think good "phrasing" is all about. A 4 note sequence can sound so much different depending on how you manage the spaces if you like - or the timing. 6 People can take the same 4 notes and all will make them sound different depending on how they space the notes out.

Music, it's only the arrangement of notes and silence in space and time.
