I'm as addicted as work and life let me....
By that I mean I wish I could be here all the time but unfortuatly a lot of stuff gets in the way. My dogs, boyfriend and house keep me pretty busy...gotta love home reno! and I've been gone for the last week and a half (course for work) and haven't seen anything on GMC....talk about jonesing! But I'm back now baby...at least until Friday...then I go fishing for 3 days.
Kris can understand about the fishing.

I must also say that if you have got the time to go fish for three days you can't be
that unlucky!

haha .. short answer yes.. long answer... yes.. very addicted, i just wish that more ppl stayed on chat, maybe have it as a second window.. and add sum sorta sound thing like msn so ppl know when others are talking, even tho that would get really annoying. But same as what RokChik said, i would never leave if i didn't have a life away from guitar
As is the only time im not on the fourm is when im reading a guitar magazine(probably still on fourm) or doing a lession
coffee is the only other addiction of mine... and im addicted to coffee so i can stay up late on GMC
I think there will be more and more activity in the chat - at the beginning (meaning 1-2 months ago) it was completely dead. Now we have some daily activity!
Posted by: Pavel Jun 28 2007, 09:38 AM
GMC is like the only place i hang out on the Internet every day. There are of course some other forums i visit but there is not so much activity as here.
I refresh the forum every 15 minutes

Last week there was 1352 posts in the forum. That's one new post every seven minutes or so, on average. So refreshing every 15 minutes isn't enough, Pavel!

It took a lot of rearranging I must say but, no I am not really that unlucky. It is a holiday weekend here in Canada and you must take advantage of 3 day weekends! especially to go fishing. Gonna take the acoustic though and try to get some practice in.

Well, speed isnt everything... I got some smooth refreshing licks going on!

GMC Should take over the world, i think we could do it, just melt peoples faces with super insane shred or put them to sleep with some soft melodys.
But once we ruled the world, we probably wouldnt pay attention to it...
"Sir, War has been declared in 50 countries!!!"
Response from GMC Official...
"After im done with my metronome practice, i got this lick at 150 BPM, Almost there!"
Posted by: Pavel Jun 28 2007, 04:38 PM
Wow - what internet speed have you got??? I can't refresh that fast even if i wanted to!! My speed is 1Mbit/s, hoping to get 3Mbits for next month!

In Sweden they get 100mbit for less than what we pay for 2mbit in Norway. Thats actually true(used to be atleast).

I'm sorry for off-topic but how much do you pay for the internet at those crazy speeds?

In the USA, 30 mbit/s cable runs me just under $45 a month - 15 would be $30

Not sure, but it's not much at all. Let's wait for the swedes to answer
But Sweden have always been a thousand years ahead of Norway when it comes to internet(or actually more or less everything).

I think you are on to something. Can't you see?
Two swedes known for their violent history. Just listen to this from quote their anthem, "burry your gentitals" !!? And the other builds wepons of mass destruction, disquised as self guided lawnmovers.
Now they have added another special trained mainiac to their ranks. A guy trained in interogation methods. What that man can't do with a tube, some wires and a little electricity, oh, you don't want to know his skills.

Hmmmm, I don't do bills, they are a pain
so I'm not 100% sure.
I think it's just below 300SEK which would be like ... 40 USD I think. That's a fiber to my house with 100Mb locally in this town and 10 Mb outside. Some ISPs delivers full 100MB for about the same price but not mine, ofc.

I've got 24 Mbit/s, it's DSL, and I think I pay around 350-380 SEK/month. Around US$55
Posted by: Robin Jun 28 2007, 07:23 PM
About 2-4 years ago or something, we payed 5-600 NOK every month for 2mbit................ it's redicilous

GMC is like my second family to me. Since my goal is to one day become a great and professional guitarist, and the people that are around me do not quite agree with that, GMC is a place were i know there is alot of people with the same ideals and goals as me. People were i can have a nice chat with, learn more, teach my little knowledge to someone who might find it useful, and very important..to have fun! This is a great comunity and im glad i joined it.
