Darius, when did you become a fusion guy? smile.gif

Just went there for the first time to check out their backing tracks, and was surprised to see you as the first guy in their video!

Hey man! Ha ha smile.gif Nope I'm not a fusion player but I really dig this style and enjoy to record something "fusion-like" (though I'm not a jazz player...maybe someday I will ha ha smile.gif))

You've probably seen the collaboration with Yannis, Claudio and Felipe smile.gif

As for my fusion it's a "poor fusion" rather smile.gif It's sort of my side work to improve this style as well smile.gif

Here is another attempt of similar style smile.gif

You talk about this video?

For my taste this was the perfect mix of players for a collab smile.gif Maybe because 2 guitarist from the video are a big influence for my playing style..... tongue.gif
When I became friend with Yiannis (the last guy from video) and I saw this collab first time (long before to know Darek), I bought this backing but I never couldn't improv something on it because their solos always sounded in my head biggrin.gif

Darek - I hope you not dig too much laugh.gif I will not worry because your style and musical conceptions are already rooted very deep and your playing show this wink.gif

I like that Steinberger guitar. It so easy to change a string on those. I got one as well, but not as nice.

Ha ha smile.gif I remember our first conversation Monica smile.gif You know...that nasty feeling of alwasy something could be done better, will never leave me smile.gif Guys and Girls like all of You just keep me in belief that it's worth doing smile.gif Your support helps a lot and sometimes clear a lot of things.

I think You pointed some very nice ideas. I will consider the mid-advanced sort of "introduction" to the fusion as a next lesson? smile.gif

Palacios - nope it's not a Steinberg smile.gif It's a Hufschmid smile.gif

Keep forever that nasty feeling because it's a HUGE quality in my opinion smile.gif I love that feeling because it's the only one who push us over, when our mind say that it's a limit. This thing make some differences, you know very well what I mean wink.gif

I like and I listen a lot of musicians but just 3 person (and one it's AT) can influence my style of playing. Why just 3.......? Because (for my taste and my preferences) they can transmit the same feeling, no matter what style they choose to play smile.gif That intangible ''something'' it can't be taught or learned. You must be born with it wink.gif So......always make what you do now, because you do it awesome as hell wink.gif
