Hello folks,

Gear comes and goes but is there anything that you will never ever let go unless times get so bad that you have to??

I fired up these two tonight for an impromptu improv over a YT backing and I fell in love all over again. I haven't fired the amp up for a few months, WOW!!!! What an incredible amp, I still haven't sent TH-U through it, it seems wrong to tarnish that pristine clean tone and lovely edge of break up sound. Incredible. In fact there are three things, one isn't in that picture but the JHS Little Black Box makes the amp fully useable at bedroom levels.

I would hate to get rid of ANY of my guitars, but this Strat and this amp are a match made in heaven.

The 7 string 7620 was the first affordable seven from Ibanez.

But, if that's all you're keeping you won't be able to enjoy them because you won't have a amp. Your cap though buddy cool.gif

I'll probably never part with my 78 JMP. I've had a long term love affair with her going back to long before I owned her.
Also, I don't think I'll ever part with my 89 LP Standard. Gold Top.

Very inspirational guitars here 😍

For me it has to be my Parker nitefly guitar. I don't quite play it as often (which saddens me) but it sure has a special place in my heart since its the one that started it all for me!

I think the reason I don't play it as often as the other guitars, is because of the bright tone and high output pickups - but I just don't want to start messing with replacing pickups on this one.

This guitar sure helped me when I needed it. Back in the days I only had one guitar - and this one could do it all: Single coil twang, bridge metal sound (so in other words both clean, heavy and in-between). I could abuse the whammy more than any other guitar i have owned - and it (almost) never goes out of tune + the neck has not needed truss rod adjustments since I bought it blink.gif

I always dreamt of getting a Parker back in the day. I've never even tried playing one, but I hear they are great guitars.

My experience from build quality and stability is beyond amazing. They do have a very special sound though. Definitely musical - but different.

Yes, I didn't want use the word "different" as I thought it could be taken badly, but that's what I hear people say "different, but great!" smile.gif
