Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey man! This take is very good out of what I see and the only suggestions I would have to talk about would be the vibrato in the lead parts - it sounds a bit out of tune so you might like to focus on making it sounds rounder and more in tune. The timing is good but you could add some more definition to the riffs as an all around observation wink.gif Keep practicing this one, as I think you can have the ten nailed!

Yep smile.gif That's pretty nicely done smile.gif Last chord is out of tune but I'll forgive You that smile.gif. You've kept the timing much better. It lacks a bit of confidence in playing so I cannot rate You too high but as for my taste You deserved to pass.

Hi mate! The lesson is ok but needs some adjustment. I feel that you start with some timing issues but once you get comfortable you end the take with a really cool groove. I can note the difference comparing the first riff with the last one. Talking about the first and second riffs, I think that you are muting too much the strings that you are playing. Check again the original lesson and you will note that the first riff doesn't sound with staccato as your version. To summarize, review your the palm muting in the whole lesson and work on the timing of the first part.
Keep on the hard work! wink.gif
