Improvisation Course I, Modules 1 & 2 Options

Hello everybody!

Welcome to the first forum Improvisation Workout. This program will be based on the improvisation course that I've given at my video chat lessons some months ago and many of you have missed.

Joining this workout doesn't mean that you have to stop other guitar works. This should take 30 minutes per day. I'll expect an audio file from you playing each assignment at the end of the week to let me give monitor your progress.

Who is interested in joining? Please be sure that you can follow the whole course. I want brave and hard working GMCers here!


The program is:

5 Modules - 12 assignments - 12 weeks

IMPROVISATION COURSE - FROM ZERO TO HERO -

Level 1:

Module 1: Major Scales

1. Major Scale (Shapes, sequences & arpeggios)
2. Pentatonic Major Scale

Module 2: Minor Scales

1. Minor Scale (Shapes, sequences & arpeggios)
2. Pentatonic Minor Scale

Module 3: Three notes per string scales

1. Minor Scale (Three notes per string shapes)
2. Major Scale (Three notes per string shapes)

Module 4: Major and Minor Arpeggios

1. Major Arpeggios
2. Minor Arpeggios

Module 5: Extending the fret-board

1. Changing Positions
2. Three Octave Scales
3. Passing notes and chromatism
