U can't simply choose the BEST MAIDEN SONG!! There are too many of them to pick just one...

If i have to choose that would be Stranger in a Strange land from Somewhere in Time!!

Hah, that's an impossible choice. There are so many great ones... One of my favorites have to be Alexander the Great. The middle part of it and the solo is just insane, I think it's one of their longest as well.

I'm not a great fan of all the old stuff, but I like No Prayer For The Dying and off course Run To The Hills!

Maiden is my favorite band, how can you make me choose just one!!! HOW!? I cant handle this pressure. Its like telling me I have to choose only one eye to keep and the other gets stabbed out with a mechanical pencil. How about I give you a "short" list to start with while I weigh in on which eye I want to keep.

Run to the Hills
The Trooper
The Prisoner
Hallowed be thy Name
Fear of the Dark
2 Minutes to Midnight
Paschendale
Aces High
The Longest Day

....Ok I will stop there or I will end up putting all of them on there.

So I have given it some thought. You may take my right eye. My left eye is my master eye and shooting eye even though I am right handed. Might need that afterwards...

I will choose

Dance of Death

There, Ive done it. I feel this song has a great mix of everything Maiden.

Hallowed Be Thy Name. That line where Bruce holds thas note at the start is just amazing.
"The sands of time for me are running loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOw."
Classic.
Oh and from the Di'anno era Prowler.

I have to agree with the Paul Di'Anno sentiments. You have to figure Maiden came about when British punk was big. Di'anno had a great punk style that fit Maiden perfectly for the very beginning. Gave them an edgy sound for the time.

Bruce however, is epic in mortal form.

That too is a monstrously epic tune. Still remember the first time I heard it which was when I borrowed the 12 Wasted Years video off of my friend at school... totally blew me away ! biggrin.gif
