We all seen them, many have used it, so whats the verdict? Check out Laszlo's new lesson, "Hit That Whammy! PT 2", and then post a reply to todays topic.

I'm not talking about nose trimmer. I'm talking about the whammy bar. Are you a fan, not a fan, or have you never really given it a shot? How often do you practice with one? How do you prefer using it? For phrasing or dive bombs?

yep, love my whammy, every guitar I own has one, I find if I play a guitar without one then I`m usually reaching for it, flapping my hand in the air at nothing huh.gif

I use it for both phrasing and of course dive bombing smile.gif

I have a guitar with a whammy, but I never really use that guitar...but when I do I prefer doing dive bombs wink.gif Possibly because I never really learned to do phrasing with the whammy... ph34r.gif

For phrasing and tremolo FX mostly, since I use fender tremolo. Would love to have a guitar with FL tho smile.gif
