My preferred is the black album (though And Justice for all would be almost a tie if I had to give notes)

P.S. Seems I am the only one to prefer this phase(black+justice) instead of the more thrash metal 3 first albums? Well, before being flamed I do like them, but the question is about the preferred tongue.gif

Hey. That was actually my first impression. The discussion level in the forum seems to be 1000% more polite and less biased than 99.9% internet forums smile.gif

Definitely the black album, when I was start playing the guitar in 1992 a friend of mine gave me the tabs of that album , so the first riffs I learned to play were from that album , I have a very speciall conection with it.

they say that the new album will be like the days of old Metallica. Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets are my favorites. both tied for number one. and ...And Justice for All is a shy second.

RIP Cliff Burton!!!!

Kill em all is the absolute best.... The TONE on that album is absolutley CRUSHING!! Plus the music is great!
So far it goes: 1. Kill em all 2. Justice for all 3. Black album
I don't like master of puppets! The only good song on it is the title track, all the rest is not good to me...

Idk...I've never liked the Black Album that much. Don't get me wrong, there are some awesome songs on there like The Unforgiven, Of Wolf and Man, and Nothing Else Matters, but I absolutely HATE a couple of the songs like Holier than Thou and The Struggle Within. I guess if I could overlook the fact that they made 4 great thrash/heavy metal albums before the Black Album, I'd be able to like it more. But I just can't sad.gif
