Yeah, I use it too. I clean my strings and neck with a cloth before and after every time I play and I use FF to keep it all sleek and sheeny

Fast Fret is awesome product. It does the job great! If you have some non-coated strings, like most of them are (with elixir for example you don't need FF), it will prolong the strings sound from couple of days to a week or two, depending how much you play.
The trick with FF is to NOT wipe it off as it says on the box. Don't use the cloth at all. Just wipe the FF on the strings in the evening, after the playing, and let it stay like that overnight. In the morning the chemicals from FF will eat out all the dirt, specially from the bass (wounded) strings. (this tip was brought to you by Bogdan ) I use fastfret a lot and it saved me a lot of money...I used to change bass strings like crazy , once they loose the bright metallic new strings sound...Then I discovered this little trick quoted above and I was able to get "new strings sound" for my bass strings..It allowed me to use same strings for months without problems and it was always able to clean them. One thing I notice though after excessive (almost daily use) for more then a month is that strings do get the "new sound" but they over time lose some mass from the sound..They do get bright , but thinner.Overall its a great product for me.I use it for string cleaning properties , I don't like the greasy feeling of it though -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

I bought some of the FastFret, so I'll see how it is xD Oh cool...Remember not to wipe it off after you apply it , rather leave the guitar overnight and see the results in the morning...Strings should sound "like" new! -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

It should work for the whole guitar, but there is no need. It works best for strings, so it may be wise to save it for that and use regular water for guitar.

yeah that's cotton threads, it should be too much of a problem, they come off easy, just make sure you leave it to dry.

the applier thingy is a bit weird It's like some very thin strings of line come out when slid through by the strings.... Is there a little cover when it comes new? Applier thing gets "shreaded" from use , its ok..Its made like that and just dipped in the cleaning agent...Just make sure to store it in the plastic tube container with the lid on in order not to dry out. Yeah, it'll do that. Mine came with some sort of plastic tube with a lid, and a cloth... (And now to make fun of someone's previous post hehe) Hmm what could the cloth be for? Wait, I know! Could it be for wiping this product somehow? Well thing is that it says on the packaging 2. Wipe excess away with enclosed cloth...So many do that , but that way you only get the 30% at best of the cleaning effect and 100% of lubrication effect...But as I said , leave it over night and be amazed how much better it works in larger quantity and over longer period of time..Generally the next day there is no excess to be wiped off...It all gets absorbed or dries in the air. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

I'm just buggin ya man. I didn't even read the packaging, and I rarely use it. I only use it when my strings feel grimy. I know They should throw away the cloth and cut down the product price -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net
