i play guitar mostly through my computer these days. I was wondering, is it safe for my monitors, sub and guitar processor power switches to remain on, plugged into a surge protector and switch the surge protector on and off so I can power everything up with one flick of a switch?

hi guys been awhile since i been here.
ive got 4 tracks from a band here in vegas, that was looking for another guitar player, i put up some covers and recs i did and they invited me to play and come up with lead parts.
i know the keys of all songs and got some ideas, now im trying to pick apart some sections of there songs, can i somehow mute the bass, drums and vocals using logic x?

So I spend a good deal of time listening to music, got good headphones monitors and a sub.
I looked at sound isolation a bit and saw Mopads long ago,but never added them to my set up. All that cash I put in and can't believe I left a small thing out like this. When I added them there is a very big difference, more so at higher volumes.
So if any of you using monitors and don't have these, it is really 30 bucks well spent. I'm sure you can even get foam and make them yourself.

Guy selling used for 200. Wanted a 61 key but if this is a deal I'll take it. I'm gonna use it to play midi piano, is 49 keys good enough?
I just set up my new desk to be ready to add a good midi keyboard, my workspace was on a very small desk and was going to just use a workbench like Todd suggested, but at Costco they has this perfect wood table for cheap.

Hi Dave, I enjoyed listening to your REC takes. Great playing, very inspiring & I love your style. I also liked the Analog shirt while playing Foo Fighters style. Mr. Grohl will be proud! - Gary
