I noticed that to be true about several "Boutique" Vendors
Some of them are more expensive than Duncans, but they sometimes use much better wire and bits and can sound wads better. Not to say I dont like Duncans
But they are just not in the same league. It's like comparing a hand made SUHR to a shop built Ibby Prestige. Sure both are nice guitars, but very different in many respects.

Nice, post some clips when you can :-)
I haven't tried those, but I've had a few Bareknuckle Pickups.
Compared to mass market pickups, they're in another league :-)
I bet the same goes for Homewrecker.
These new ones are the PUNISHER series which are meant to stack up agains Bare Knuckle high gain Alnico 8 magnet based pups. I lOVE alnico 8 mags. I tried them in my DUNCAN ALTERNATIVE 8 and was blown away. The clarity is sick. It cured me of ceramic entirely, but that's just me

What are the Homewrecker pickups meant to sound like, compared to their closest mass production/classic pickup equivalent?
