Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Nice! My feedback here is best expressed with one word: groove

You play this lesson correctly but you do not convey the same groovy feeling as Adrian. I recommend:

* tap your foot at all time. You have got to find a body part that can act as your internal metronome. Just watch how Adrian is grooving away with his whole body!

* Once that feels ok, try to lock your right hand with the foot tapping. And if possible try to make larger more aggressive strumming movements.

This might sound like bogus advice, but when you get it down it will make all the difference between a "correct" take and a truly groovy one.

Keep up the good work - you get a 7 from me!

Hey there!

I like your timing in this one. It show you definitely feel that groove. There are some moments of hesitation but in general it's very nice.

There are some moments when the noise of unwanted strings appear. MAke sure you can use any surface of right or left hand to fix this.

Final part is not clear enough - the melody on 4th string doesn't sound priorized over 5th string you play along with it.

There are some moments like 0:36 where it would be good to recheck if the tuning issue comes form the guitar tuning process or from the fretting hand. This chord definitely shows a pitch isse while some other chords do not suggest it's an overall tuning issue.

I like your attitude, open tone and confident picking. You're on the good track.
