I stumbled upon a video mentioning the website called Notion.so and I decided to search to see if anyone was using it for music related activities, and I found this:

It seems there are quite a few of these productivity apps and websites. Do you use any of them? If so, which one do you recommend? smile.gif

Thanks for the share!! I'm gonna download it and give it a try. Looks interesting. I typically use just Google Docs/Googe Calender for this sort of thing, but they are more of a generalized tools set than this. I've also tried KOMPOZ and a few other solutions/sites, but end up just going back to google calendar as it's so integrated in to my life.

*HERE IS A CURRENT PROJECT OF MINE ON KOMPOZ.

I had gotten out of the habit but I think I'm going to try it again as it's a good way to work on a collaborative project and I'm trying to work on two separate track with my band ARkASA and they are all in Germany smile.gif

Here is a typical workflow

Cool! I use Notion a lot. Mostly to organize my life, projects and work. It's an endless app and honestly my favorite.

I used Trello in the past, I still use it with my private students, but Notion is much more advanced.

Nice! Yes, I remember you talking about Trello before.

Do you have any tips for using Notion? I'd like to get started... I think, but I need an app that motivates me to get started with Notion, and then I can use it afterwards. Just kidding of course, I would like to get started with it somehow to see if it can help me organize thoughts, ideas and projects.

I've used Compoz before, but not a whole lot. Maybe I should get into it again smile.gif I remember checking it out maybe 5-6 years back, but at that time it didn't seem all that great. I think we've spoken about Kompoz before, the two of us.

haha honestly, it took me a while since I opened an account until I started using it. It's a bit overwhelming at first because the possibilities are endless.

I discovered the app thanks to this video:

Nowadays, I use it to organize my work (schedules, design lessons and courses, music production plans), my musical projects (songs progress, songs library, plans), my practice (I have all the practicing material and practice routines there), and my life (calendar, recreational activities, goals).

I also use it is as a resonance calendar. , mostly to save material (videos and articles), that I find interesting but that I want to re-check later.

This is still a work on progress for me, but it's been a very positive addition. As I said before, I used Trello for similar purposes but I've never felt comfortable with it. Notion is exactly what I needed.

I don't pay any subscription, the free version is enough for me (at least for now).
