Robocop's New Look

Although the original looks more robotic and has more visual impact the new one does seem more modern and less chunky. The good thing is that the differences mean that the original Robocop still stands alone without being confused with the newer one. I think that's the only good thing about remakes. If they're different enough then they don't have to tarnish the original Do you agree or do you think remakes should stick closely to the original movies ? Bad guy tries to steal it and he get electroshocks 'till he dies. Oh my And what was the name of the superior of Robocop ? That giant machine... Oh and that nintendo game was so hard. I think that instead of doing re-make they should do A sequel with new story. Even if there is a risk that it's not gonna sell more than the original. Because you always compare it with the original. I like when we have differences in the remake of a movie but I don't think that it is necesary to make the hero look so different. I like the new Batman movies and he looks similar to the old ones. They are not letting young writers to try just keep redoing the old movies and doing a bad job! Outfit is horrible mix of spiderman and batman Now it's a SPATMAN! I guess it's like the music industry.. no one is interested in anything other than guarantees of success and money return. However, even though Hollywood may be in this trend it doesn't stop other film makers so we'll still have enough great, original art to balance out the Hollywood trash Spatman - there's a good idea !!! I thought the scene when Murphy got shot to bits was quite brutal when I first saw it..... in a totally awesome way I dont mind remakes if they add something to the story, sometimes they seem just churned out to make a quick profit but it can be cool if you get a decent re-working of a story. I'll check out the new robocop..... also now I totally want to watch the original again! I liked the x-men first class which was basically a re-working of the story, even changing the continuity shock horror Although its not exactly new anymore I also liked the remake of 'dawn of the dead'. totally hated the remake of the Wicker man, the original was way better.
