Bebop Licks, Lesson By Stephane Lucarelli |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Bebop Licks by Stephane Lucarelli
I noticed the tab was a little different than the way Stephane played it. I'm not very good with a pic so I used nails. |

Hi friend, good effort on this lesson. It's not a bad take but there are some things to improve. I think that your playing sounds with more swing than the original lesson, check out how Stephane plays the 8th notes straighter. I notice that some notes are muted too quickly and that makes your playing less smooth compared with the original lesson, try to make the silence between notes smaller. The are also some licks that has notes that doesn't sound and have some little timing issues.
In other words, you are close but you should continue practicing it concentrated on those things. Keep on the hard work! -------------------- My lessons
