Ice Queen by Within Temptation. A Dutch Symphonic Metal band. The drums are midi ran thru an Alesis DM5. The keys are midi into a synth in Cubase. Everything else is real. I did all the rhythm guitars. I think he did just one... I could be wrong there... Yeah, she took it down a notch. Well, 12 actually. She was having a bit of trouble hitting some of the notes. Well two rhythme tracks surely widened the record, you did very well And also tonewise, it is great. Just one thing: I think it would sound even better if the voice volume was a bit higher in the mix, her voice is hidden under the wall of guitars sometimes. The vox sure are a low and need a little shine added to them too I think. THey are the focus after all. You can tell this was mixed by a guitarist. Just not this guitarist.
