Hey Guys,

Heres another solo I tried today. Using Axe Fx II.

This solo is pretty much very helpful to improve (legato, different picking techniques and fingering techniques, its a finger twister). Had a hard time trying it out first time. Began really slow and took a month to get it to tempo. Still could take more practices but I am so impatient, had to record it today. smile.gif One thing I learnt is once you don't get that pain on your arms, you know you have actually "mastered" the solo. smile.gif

Thanks for watching!

Cheers,
Chandra

great job as uaual, but ,I am still going to hold your feet to the fire
the tone could have been cleaner ( I think it made some of the phrases a little indistinguishable ) and that might help with it sounding as tight as guthrie
and we are still looking foward to a little of your own work as well

Awesome job Man, I could see why that solo would be a finger twister biggrin.gif Lots of different techniques squeezed into a small space of time. You handled it great!

Nah you don't want that - you want to play 110% like Maharzan! smile.gif

I think this was very cool - to get even closer to Guthrie I would practice bending more precisely up to pitch (insanely difficult but he does it so well) and possibly clean the hybrid and picking runs up a little bit.

Thanks rhoads and SInisa. I hope to really become a good guitarist being able to improvise one day. But that seems too far away right now. Still struggling..
