I have this same set on my strat at the moment, I agree, they're great. When I first tried them, it could have been because I was sorely needing new strings for a week or so before I actually changed them, but the different string gauges seemed to almost complement each other and give at least a perceived tighter bottom end and more sparkling high end. With these I can bend from 24th fret to 26th (F#) and it works great with no pain. Also the material of these is really good.
