one often gets what one pays for sad.gif However, I have heard of folks getting good album artwork through fiver. The guys doing it are really just looking to expand their art book in many cases as five bux is really not enough to pay anyone with any real skill for anything serious.. sad.gif

I thought it was amazing biggrin.gif

I mean 260 bucks enough to make a single, all he did was strum a few chords and some solo's written after...for the money I think it resulted great.

I liked it too smile.gif Mr Samurai did not. Many folks actually want to pay the $5 amount no matter what the work is. In such cases, it's off a real gamble as to quality. Many folks will still do it, as the site is called FIVER and you are required by terms of services to offer your a five dollar service as an option. In which case, it's really up to the guy doing the work. Still, some folks are not gonna be happy no matter what. Those kind of clients are often the very ones with no money at all to spend, and who have a hard deadline. Such is the life of freelancing smile.gif

I sent the link to an student/friend of mine. We covered the chord-strum guitar basics but after that his work go in the way and couldn't continue, but he always wanted to make a few songs played on spotify etc.

This is pretty good for guys like him, he does the songwriting/singing and gets the drums, bass, sax etc. whatever he wants for a price he can afford. Perfect for guys like him or even GMC'ers who are focused on guitar and couldn't get to the level for learning record, mix, midi stuff yet.

Can be very handy indeed smile.gif Of course, sometimes you gotta wade through some stuff that's not great, but still for these prices, it's hard to say no.
