Oh boy... I was expecting a rhythm guitar to enter instead there was a second guitar plucking notes.
It's too much my friend! If I may come with a suggestion - Try it the other way around instead, keep one of the guitars and exchange the other with a rhythm guitar. I think the intro guitar sound was cool, let's say you keep that. Around the time when the second guitar comes in, exchange that with a guitar striking a distorted powerchord and just keep it ringing until the tone dies. The first guitar keeps plucking. Then, at the same time * add a rhythm guitar behind the plucking (like a Lenny Kravitz rhythm) with some crunch to it. * Either keep the low volume of the plucking or increase the volume and clean the sound up a bit.... perhaps for a bridge leading into the refrain where you could just let all hell break lose. -------------------- My bands homepage
All time favourites: B. Streisand - Woman in Love, M. Hopkin - Those were the days, L. Richie - Hello |

Good advice - and a little bit of drum and bass wouldn't hurt - I presume you are using some kind of recording program since you multitracked the guitar? -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

I use a program that came with the stealth plug called Tracktion It also has Amplitube 2.0. It is just more effects though. too bad it has great effects, amp, Mic and cabinets. Traktion should have all you need to add drums and bass - you will need to figure out how to sequence it, but at least you shouldn't need to buy any more software! -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
