Well it's a serious problem for sure, but not for somebody who knows his guitars. TOday in the age of information, this kinda bad news spread out pretty quickly, and everybody who wants to buy a good quality guitar around 2000-3000$ are often the people who know a lot about those guitar before they make a purchase.
