You spend hours and hours practicing playg guitar, but do you put the smae amount of time onto practicing writing lyrics? Or do you just sit down and try and write a song? I have the same problem for the same reason

I think that Andrew has a strong point here. If we practise more of our lyrics writing technique than that will get better in time. There are natural born writers, but even they practised for their entire lives to get some great songs. WHen I have an ispiration, a write 5 songs, and when i don`t i write 0. Just like a beginner on a guitar can find some great licks one day, but the next when he wants to play some good licks he can`t because he doesent know how
