Singing Lyrics

As things would pop into my head for lyric ideas I would capture them. After a while ideas start coming more frequently. Just like playing guitar bro - If you practice 1 hour per week you're not going to have the experience under your belt to kick out some serious licks. And for me, I've found that quite often practicing the CAPTURE of ideas is a skill that is separate from the execution of those ideas. Capturing a lyric or the idea of a riff is completely different from being able to sing it or play it - and needs to be practiced as well. If we practise more of our lyrics writing technique than that will get better in time. There are natural born writers, but even they practised for their entire lives to get some great songs. WHen I have an ispiration, a write 5 songs, and when i don`t i write 0.
