Heavy Ballad, my take Jonathan Burgos Lesson 6 |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi dude!
I think your tone is really appropriate and it's nice to listen to. I would concentrate on timing, try to be even more locked with the drums. Slow down a bit -------------------- Visit my:

It's a good take! You have to concentrate a bit on timing and vibrato. The timing isn't precise and your vibrato should be stronger. Check out the original lesson to notice what I mean!

Very nicely played with great tone (although a bit too much space FX in it).
Things to improve here are timing and vibrato, although I think vibrato is the smaller problem. Main problem is keeping those powerchords and notes tight with the drums, which is not happening, you are mostly behind the beat. Try tapping your foot while playing, and nail those notes precisely on kick & snare. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
