Hey dudes,
ive got a question to Pavels Legato lesson.
is there any major difference if I play a tab like this 6-8-10 with mit index finger, ring finger, pinkie instead of index, middle, pinkie ?
because its easier for me to use index finger, ring finger, pinkie but most guitar players dont use this combo so what is the best and does it make sense to learn it the other way around?

thank dudes!

Hey man!
For me it's more comfortable to play index-middle-pinky BUT ALSO - it's very important to practice stretches - and that index-middle is the basic stretch to start practicing so i suggest you practice it that way because it's not only this particular lick you are practicing. For example - what if you have to play 6-9-12? You won't be able to play it your way - or if you go 12-15-19 - the ring finger is out of the question in these situations so it's up to you to decide! Index-middle stretch is very important!

Yes it's possible! It's a must have ability for upcoming shredders! wink.gif

As for JEM - you pay for both the name and the quality. This guitar is amazing - i have nothing to add.
BUT - when looking at a price be careful not to get a JEM555 - they are much cheaper but they totally suck.
So - when you get to a local guitar store check if it's a JEM7 or JEM555. JEM7 is the real deal but it is expensive.

You're welcome m8! For the price of JEM555 you can get a high quality RG PRESTIGE model!
It's good you asked - you just learned something about JEM models hehehe

Btw. let us know when you decide which guitar to get! wink.gif

pfff 12-15-19..and the 6-9-12...i can do that with my index..ring and pinky..i have bigs hands thouhg.a.nd its not hte greatest..but i can do it tongue.gif...damn i love big hands..but it sucks sometimes sad.gif

but also to add ot pavels..thing...and most of the time it is...use whats comfortable for you...but its really good..to be able to do index-middle-pinky...instead of just index-ring-pinky..get what im saying!!...you can use both..instead of just 1...if need be!!
