Seymour Duncan Vs. Dimarzio

Does anyone have any opinion on which is better, or are they pretty much the same? I won't list the specs because they are not avail for both but here is the application of both pickups: High output single-coil-size "rails" humbucker. They sound fizzy and undefined, they would only cover punk, garage and grunge well. Just roll off on the volume to clean up a bit if you think it's too sharp sounding. Suits very well in my mahogany LP I think. But I'm generally doubtful about humbuckers in single coil format. It's not the same as the real humbucker, far from it. Expect a thinner and weaker sould compared to the real deal. I don't think it matters much which one you choose between the two. To be honest, there are real cheap "ebay" pickups out there that sound like a million bucks and for the investment of 1/3 of the cost for a Dimarzio or a SD it's big bang for the buck. So do find rolling the volume back on the Dimarzio Super Distortion would be the equivalent of a Dimarzio pickup with a little less output like the Dimarzio Fast track 2 pickup?
