Get Tony's C.A.B. (fusion band's) albums! Also check out Maximum Secutiry, Edge of Insanity, Chromacity, and his keyboard playing on some of Vinnie Moore's stuff.

I actually got to meet MacAlpine once, he was a really nice guy.

Yeah, and what's unbelivable is that he plays em at the same time!!! laugh.gif j/k (if it's not true of course)

I used o listen to him in the 80's, great guitarist. I had no idea he was also a piano player and probably more.

TMac is sweet! He's one of the first shredders I started listening to when I started to get serious about guitar a few years ago.
He's a true virtuoso, I never get tired of listening to his stuff. My favorite album from him would have to be Premonition, check it out if you get a chance. Of course his other stuff is excellent as well. cool.gif

Haha, that's what's so great about Tony - everyone's favorite album of his is different, because he has so much great stuff, and it isn't all metal / neo-classical either.

Yes! He's a great musician. His solo songs have so nice melodies! I read some articles about him where he says that he first learnt to play the piano and then he trasposed all the stuff to the guitar. It has helped him to sound original. When I bought Steve Vai's Live in Astoria DVD I discovered that he was playing in Steve Vai's band!! He plays guitar and key at the same time.... That's amazing! biggrin.gif
