Tony is an awesome musician in general,not just a guitarist.

It's unbelievable how Tony can play both piano and guitar with amazing skills. Yeah, and what's unbelivable is that he plays em at the same time!!! j/k (if it's not true of course) I used o listen to him in the 80's, great guitarist. Haha, that's what's so great about Tony - everyone's favorite album of his is different, because he has so much great stuff, and it isn't all metal / neo-classical either.

im a huge fan of tony. i think he's one of the greatest unsung heros of guitar. whatever you like, hes got it. you like shred? fusion? whatever. he can and does do it. LOVE CAB!

Yes! He's a great musician. His solo songs have so nice melodies! I read some articles about him where he says that he first learnt to play the piano and then he trasposed all the stuff to the guitar. It has helped him to sound original. When I bought Steve Vai's Live in Astoria DVD I discovered that he was playing in Steve Vai's band!! He plays guitar and key at the same time.... That's amazing!
