I have recently purchased a Laney LV300T with an effects loop at the back. The guy at the store couldn't tell me what the point of having an effects loop is. does anyone here know the purpose of these things and whether or not its is diferent from simply putting your effects between the guitar and the input plug?
Some modulation effects like delay, chorus ,flanger etc sound better in effects loop..Usually you put distortion and wah between guitar and amp and other stuff in effects loop..
