Hello everybody.

My name is Craig from Wigan in England. I'm 37 years old and been playing guitar since I was 19 however, despite the length of time I've been playing, I really should be better than I am if I'd practiced more!!!

Anyway, a friend at work told me about this site and having had a look at it decided to join since I've renewed enthusiasm for playing again.

As for what I play, I have a Japanese Fender Stratacaster, an Applause accoustic, a Marshall 50w amp, a Zoom 2020 multi effects and a Boss wah-wah pedal.

My musical influences are, Pink Floyd, Toto, Deep Purple, Rush, Metallica, Red Hot Chilli's to name but a few.

I've decided to start with one of the funk lessons and take it from there. I would like to improve my soloing and build up a repetoire of licks and riffs and phrases and hopefully unlock the mystery of modes, (I do have a basic understanding of scales and chord theory)

Thats it from me, take care.

Craig (aka Crazyfret)

Cheers,
