In Scotland right now its winter and really cold so my boiler decides that its a great time to stop working So I have had no heating in the house for about a week and a half. Hopefully its going to be getting fixed this week.The parts needed have being ordered.
Practicing the guitar with freezing cold hands is pretty difficult and frustrating. Clasping my hands round cups of tea give them a bit of heat for a short period of time but there is only so much tea I can drink in a day

Ouch! That doesn't sound too good!
We've had new radiators and pipes etc installed in our apartments here, and after the installation I haven't had to have heat on at all, cause people below and above me turn up theirs, and the pipes running through my living room and bedroom keep my place warm I'm hoping to save some money as well (I paid £40 a month for heating last year, which is quite common here). So far this year (since September) I've used like maybe £3 on heating, as far as I can tell.

Wow thats a big saving mate Its always a great thing when you can reduce your monthly expenses
A lot of people in the the UK struggle to pay the high cost of having heating on and have to suffer the winters. Every year there are stories on the news about it. Its really sad to hear especially with older people who are more vulnerable to illness

You got it made in the shade man! Last winter I spent $1200 USD on heating oil. Roughly $170 a month over 7 months.
