I love RPGs variety and choices but prefer FPS gameplay to turn based you-hit-me-now-I-hit-you style play, even though it certainly CAN be fun, it's just a preference. I like to be able to grow my character(s) how I want, and also be able to take full control of them. I'm just completely over the teenaged to very young adult angst filled protagonist with spiky hair and some ridiculous overdramatized element from his past. Also, the older I get, the less credible the villains seem. Liked old FF's, any before 9 really. I like action games like God of War and Devil May Cry. I love FPS/3PS since you don't have to have a substantial time investment to excel at them. Lost Planet was a great online experience, now Team Fortress 2 does it for me.
