Don't pay a lot of attention on the fact how many hours per day some players have been practicing.
Imho 3 hours par day is awesome duration if you manage to have it in constant, with constructive topics covered while you're practicing. So,chin up,leave keyboard for a sec and grab your axe!

That depends of many factors but mostly of you, be smart when practicing,do not make huge mistakes in some techniques etc. However I'm sure there will be days when you'll be able to have more than just 3 hours free.

Absolutely,I forgot how young you are!!
 Per example,I started when I was 13 or 14. Time is surely on your side,do not worry a lot.

. I guess better thing is, thinking how it feels and looks and of course sounds like to play that nasty lick in full speed, which you couldn't do well enough at the end of your last session... stuff like that.

No I don't think shredneck is made for right hand technique. I it did, I'm not sure where you could pick on a such a small fretboard
 Also regarding your topic, it is never really too late, and 3 hours is plenty if you are practicing all the time in those 3 hours, use a metronome and focus on what you do. The results will come in time that's all. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
