Hi all, i'm looking to buy a distortion pedal with some money I got for Christmas...the problem is that I know nothing about them blink.gif.

I mainly play Guns 'N Roses/Velvet Revolver type stuff and I only play in my room at the minute (no bands etc) and i'm looking for a pedal for solos (i normally play clean).

If it helps i have an Epiphone SG and a Vox Ad15VT.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks a lot biggrin.gif

Try the Boss pedals. You can find some reviews on the gear review board. I wouldnt recommend DS1 for soloing, but try the SD1.

P.S. How big is the budget?

I think around £50-60ish but I could probably stretch that a bit.

An overdrive or a distortion pedal would be the best choice for you. But always try before buy!
