Is there a link on this site that explains tab notation? I understand most of it except the letters (for example the Q and E at the top of a piece, and the L's shown on the lines of tab). Thanks for any help!

And Correct me if I'm wrong but Q and E in the notation are Quarter's and Eighth's


Oh nearly forgot => L is a tied note

I suggest that you get Guitar Pro and read tab from there. It is much more accurate than just numbers and letters smile.gif Besides you can hear it when you press play

I LOVE guitar pro.

It actually also has the fretboard, so when a note is played it shows that the note is on the fretboard which therefore helps learn both the fretboard AND traditional notation biggrin.gif
