Newbie Here..., looking for practice routine recommendations Options

Hi All,

I'm a newbie here and discovered the site accidentally when I was Googling for sweeping lessons.
I'm one of those On & Off guitarists...sometimes I practice sometimes I dont which really got me nowhere.
Now, I want to make a change and improve my playing skills...I would rate myself as an Intermediate player influenced mostly by the music
of GNR, Metallica, Collective Soul and a mix of 80's to 90's music.

I think this site rocks and what sold me was really Krostofer Dahl's Curious Coincidence...

Anyway, can anyone give me any practice routine recommendations & songs I can start to learn which would help me improve my playing skills?
