Hey guys !
Could anybody please enlighten me on how to obtain an mp3 file containing one backing track, when starting with a looped backing track ? I use Reaper, and I was wondering what I should do after inserting the looped backing... Should I delete the unwanted repetitions ? How do I proceed ? Any help is greatly appreciated ! -------------------- My YouTube Channel

As Matt nicely explained. You can cut the track to the point where first loop starts and then you can render it to separate mp3 or something if you need it. Carefully try to identify a spot where loop begins and cut the track there.

You play it and find the point where the first loop of the backing finishes, then you drag the end of the track to that point. You can apply a fade as well by Right Clicking the track - Item Prperties - Enter the time in the Fade out box - then dragging the fade to the right length. Thanks, Matt ! Well done recording so many takes for the REC ! You've improved quite a lot in a very short period of time ! As Matt nicely explained.
