Original lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Staccato-Power-Chords/

Hi, this is my take on this lesson. I think the off-beats are a bit rushed at times. Or maybe I've listened to it too often to be able to tell anymore :)

Hi man, it's good to see this old classic again!

Ok, as you said, you are rushing a little bit in some places but not all.

If you listen to the 2 and 3rd repetition that's probably where you rush the most. But it's good that you are able to identify it yourself, which is a very important skill smile.gif

Try to get the A5, A#5, D5, E5 chord progression sounding a bit smoother as well, if you can. At the moment it sounds very separated, particularly the D5-E5 movement. They should sound more smoother and more even in tone and velocity ok?

Good work!

Hey there!

Nie work and as Ben said - it's very important that you can detect your weak points by yourself.

There is not much to complain aside the timing. Take is being played quite clean. There is something to be tweaked though. It's the tone and I mean both - gear and hands. I believe your strumming is a little too soft. That causes overall sound to be a little muddy and having lack of tightness on the powerchords. Try to play harder by making wider movements and adjusting pick angle (maybe a little more straight). Also make sure to have all your knobs on guitar at max and a bridge pickup selected for this particular kind of playing.

Hey man!

Great to find this one here as well. We are working at my mentoring program with customised routines and programs and this is part of the last 10 days work. You know my thoughts about this take, which are similar to what the other instructors have commented.

This is definitely a great first step man, let's keep going!
