GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Blinding Lights Solo

Hello guys !

My wife loves the song Blinding Lights by The Weekend. As Im improving with my guitar skills Id love to surprise her with my version- As I was learning it I stumbled across this amazing solo:

I have trouble transcribing some parts and get the rhytm down. Like I can tell it starts with Cm penta shred but cant catch it correctly.
I tried to contact the guy in the vid via Youtube but no response for weeks.
Do you think theres a way this community can help me with this ? I still have 2 months to practise this.

Nice solo!

Is this the version from the original song or is this a solo made by this guy on youtube?

Either way, I think it's fairly simple to figure out this solo.

The problem is that it takes way more time to transcribe solos/songs than figuring them out by ear, at least for me

So I suggest paying someone a fee or check if there is a step-by-step instructional video online.

Definitely you will not find on YT a tutorial for this because the solo that you want it's made as you said, by the guy from the video.
In my case learning by ear it's the much easy and faster method. Transcribing always take more time.

But...if you want someone to make you a tab you can try on this site:

On Fiverr you will find a lot of people who transcribe any kind of piece. The prices differs from seller to seller but are still many who take around 4-5 EUR. The good things is that some of the guys deliver the tab in 2-3 days.
One single advice....try to find a level 1 seller (usually they have good reviews) because it's important the transcription accuracy.

just to make sure , are you using youtube setting to slow it down
