No, and for reasons the guy didn't even mention. Mainly neck wood (Maple v. Rosewood) and scale length but also a Tele has an Ash body whereas an LP is Mahogany body capped with Maple.

*A prime vintage Les Paul bridge pkup will cut like a good Tele bridge pkup. Jimmy Page's 1959 Tele is sometimes indistinguishable from his 1959 LP.
