Finaly the cheapo series of amps are out. Rips off of JSX, XXX, 6505 and 6505+

Could be great value for money incase you'd love a Peavey but can't affort it and could settle for a copy amp made in China.

Noone knows of its reliability yet.

I have heard something about those amps, but never really heard how they sound like.

But yeah, if they are good quality, they could be great if you don't have a lot of money to invest on an amp smile.gif

Will the cheaper versions sound as bad as the expensive Peavey amps or better though. That is the question.

There's not a lot out and some vids on youtube have really bad sound. A few I will post here do aswell but atleast they don't hurt ones ears

Bugera at youtube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbX1el1XOsI
(terrible playing here but anyway...)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_03DDmeoBhg

Amature reviews I've read are all leaning towards top notch positivism. Wether that comes from the fact that it's their first tube amp, a cheap tube amp or that we're dealing with people with lots of experience I don't know.
My conclusions from reading are (I've never even seen a Bugera yet) that it's putting out great sound and the original hiss from the 5150's is gone.

I found this in the harmony central amp forum. Credit goes to user megagoo for sharing
Attached File  5150_bugera_test.mp3 ( 1.71MB ) Number of downloads: 210

First the Bugera 6262, second Peavey 5150, last Bugera in the right speaker and Peavey in the left.

I've got GAS but I'd hold my horses for a while unitil either of these occur
* GAS gets relieved
* Problems from the first batches (if there are any) get discovered and repaired.
