Moving to Gear Forum (this is not a review)
Personally i would go for all-digitech pedals. I have Digitech Digidelay and DF-7 and they work perfect.
Sorry andrew thought i posted it in the gear forum
No problem, just keeping things tidy
If you are prepared to spend a little extra for higher quality, check out http://www.robertkeeley.com/ - he takes standard pedals and modifies them to sound better, and he has his own. The Keeley compressor is one of the best you can get, but its pricey.
what u reckon about this one andrew great price only a couple of hours left to
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Robert-Keeley-Modified-Boss-DS1-Ultra_W0QQitemZ200160053107QQihZ010QQcategoryZ22669QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Silly Question Just noticed u got one yourself will take it as red there good
Again as with Andrew and Matt,
Bob Keeley's pedals and mods are great - if you can get this for a good price it would be a great buy.
Bob and the guys at Keeley are also in my experience really nice and friendly so I'm sure would try to answer and help you whether you buy new or off Ebay. I wouldn't say that about a lot of companies.
If you go for it - go luck and get it for a good price.
Cheers,
Tony
ps - other pedals - chorus - I'd also look at Boss.
Compressor - think about what you want from a compressor before you decide to buy one.
Damm missied ou on that keeley boss by £1 pound wounded
Thanks for the advice tony i mainly need the the compression pedal to add more sustain to my playing
Wow that DS1-Ultra went for just over half the new price, someone got a bargain!!
Just looking on the keeley website matt and it works out £78 inc delivery might just buy one new
dude iam looking on the american website
Thats stupid its cheaper to buy from america inc shipping great exchange rate at the moment
Sounds like a much better deal, i know everything is much cheaper in the U.S I just paid £135 for my new TS9/808 Mod Plus
I ordered a TS808 and a DS-1 from the US site.
Since the dollar is pretty cheap against the euro it is a good deal.
However, maybe I have to pay import tax , in that case it is probably cheaper to buy from the UK site if you are in Europe.
(I think you don't have to pay import tax within the EU???)
That is a good point, i had to pay a small fortune on tax when buying a DVD from the USA!
You can avoice paying import tax if the item is sent as a 'gift'.
Not that I'd condone such a thing.
Sweet Matt just won a Keeley Boss DS-1 for £49 going after a keeley commpresser next
also just took a gamble on a commpresser pedal a BEHRINGER DC9 DYNAMICS COMPRESSOR but for £15 cant grumble got some good reviews on harmony central
i would suggest the MXR compressor, it is gd, and u dnt lose anything u dnt wanna lose when u use it
i got the EH small clone i could do a review on it if u want...
I don't know, you really should try out all these pedals before you make a purchase. All of them are good for some purpose.
